Soudan

Le Soudan est un pays d’Afrique du Nord-Est avec une population de 37 millions d’habitants et une espérance de vie à la naissance de 60 ans pour les hommes et 64 ans pour les femmes. Le Soudan est un état fédéral décentralisé ; après des années de conflit et la sécession du Soudan du Sud en 2011, le pays continue de souffrir d’importances inégalités dans la santé entre différentes régions et entre les zones urbaines et rurales.  La Stratégie nationale du secteur de la santé 2012-2016 accorde une importance de premier plan à la couverture sanitaire universelle et aux soins de santé primaires, dans le cadre d’un système de santé local décentralisé. Le P-CSU a apporté son soutien à la conception de la Stratégie Nationale de Santé 2017-2030, insistant sur le fait que la santé devait être prise en compte dans toutes les politiques (Approche Health in all policies).
